Exam Selection Process
Selection Procedure for IB ACIO Exam: The following information relates to the selection procedure for the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Grade II/ Executive Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) exam.
Selection Process: There will be three stages to the exam, namely: Tier-I: Ten parts, each with twenty questions worth one mark, make up the 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on the Tier I exam.
Tier-II: The Tier II Exam consists of a 50-mark descriptive paper (30 marks for an essay, 20 points for English comprehension, and 20 marks for précis writing).
Tier III/Interview: As part of the interview process, candidates may be required to take a psychometric or aptitude test.
